This large Raaf tapestry Bicker depicts the famous Portrait of Gerard Andriesz Bicker by the Dutch painter Bartholomeus van der Helst. The tapestry is made of a solid colourfast upholstery fabric and has the original Raaf label. The cloth not only enriches your interior, but also improves the acoustics in your living space.
The wall hangings are digitally printed in the Netherlands, the inks we use for digital printing comply with REACH regulations or are OEKO-TEX 100 Level 1. We printing by transfer printing, the exact required meters are printing om paper and subsequently produce the desire fabric. Our failure % is therefore nil, only we have paper as waste which is recycled.
Drost van Muiden: The original painting; Drost van Muiden is a painting of oil on panel, 94 x 70.5 cm in size, made in approximately 1642. Gerard was a son of Andries Bicker, one of the most powerful merchants in Amsterdam. Van der Helst also painted portraits of his parents. The original work is in the collection of the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
