Description

This rich Raaf cushion Sinbad is made of a heavy quality velour with a motif in relief, is beautifully finished and has the original Raaf-label. The fabric is woven in Belgium at one of the highest quality viscose jacquard weaving mills in Europe.
The pile (velvet) is viscose, by working with viscose the natural shine and soft hand is emphasized. Viscose is a nature-based fiber, no harmful chemicals were used in the production process or added to the fiber.

The cushion cover is made in Europe. The cushion filling is made in the Netherlands from 100% recycled down and feathers in a 100% cotton ticking.

Dutch Design

De Raaf kussens worden sinds 2006 door Mirjam van den Dungen in Nederland met liefde ontworpen. Mirjam houdt zich sinds 2001 24/7, bewust en onbewust, bezig met de nieuwste ontwikkelingen en trends in de textiel- fashion-en interieur branche. Er wordt gewerkt met mooie en duurzame exclusieve meubelstoffen van vaak Belgische weverijen. Mirjam heeft een voorliefde voor warme kleuren en rijke stoffen in een shabby en chique stijl waarmee ze zichzelf ook graag omringt. Haar passie is zichtbaar en voelbaar in elk Raaf item. De meubelstoffen zijn slijtvast, o.a. hierdoor ontstaan duurzame Raafjes. In het gehele ontwerp-en productieproces wordt er op alle fronten rekening gehouden met het milieu. De meeste tijd en aandacht wordt gestopt in het samenstellen van nieuwe sierkussens collecties, Mirjam verzameld het hele jaar door stof-stalen waarmee langzaam een collectie wordt gecreëerd. Raaf brengt twee keer per jaar een nieuwe collectie uit, deze bestaat steeds uit ongeveer 20 verschillende kussen-hoezen en een steeds verschillend aantal plaids en wanddoeken. De nieuwste woonmode kleuren worden toegepast en er worden verschillende structuren gebruikt waardoor de Raafjes goed matchen. Op alle vlakken wordt er zo veel mogelijk rekening gehouden met het behoud van het milieu. Het is belangrijk dat jij je thuis kan ontspannen door de fijne sfeer die jij met Raafjes creëert.
